If you want make an 15W wireless charger with QI certification. MP-A2 coil should be good option for your design and also recommended by WPC for EPP certification.
According to WPC standard, the MP-A2 Coil is of the wire-wound type, and consists of no. 17 AWG litz wire having 105 strands of no. 40 AWG (0.08 mm diameter), or equivalent. The inner size of it is 19mm*19mm, 10 turns of coil winding. The inductance with ferrite is 10.0±10%μH.
Some KNOWLEDGE ABOUT Wireless Charging Design
JHCOILS: No magnet can exist in a circle with a radius of 35mm from center of coil module.
JHCOILS: Both single coil and multiple coils can be used in wireless charging EPP certification. The design types of EPP single coil include MP-A1, MP-A2, MP-A3, MP-A4, MP-A5, MP-A6, MP-A7, MP-A8, MP-A9 and MP-A10.
JHCOILS: This is OK!
JHCOILS: No requirements for flame retardancy. However, there are requirements for the measures to be taken for the high temperature generated by foreign matters. Otherwise, the high temperature cannot be generated during the work. For example, the product needs cooling measures after the high temperature is generated.
